Keeping a log of injection sites
Vialog can keep where each injection went next to what, how much and when, in the names you use for your own sites. It shows you where you have recorded before. It never suggests where to go next.
Recording a site
A site is optional on every record. When you record an entry, the slip holds the quantity and the time; tap Site (optional) to choose one from your list, or View body map to choose it on the figure. Today shows the last site recorded for each routine, and the summary after a save names the site with when you last recorded there.
Leaving the site out is fine. The record is complete without it, and it shows as "Not recorded" (in the PDF report, "site not recorded").
Your own site labels
Vialog comes with a short set of labels for common locations, written in your phone's language when you install it. They are yours to change. In Settings › Injection site labels you can:
- rename a label, so it says what you call that place;
- add a label of your own, and place it on one of the body map's eight positions if you want it there;
- archive a label you no longer use. Records made with it keep it, and you can restore it later.
Labels are locations. They say nothing about whether a place suits anything in particular.
The body map
The body map is a figure with eight positions you can tap. Each position is shaded by how long ago you last recorded there: one neutral tone at six strengths, stronger for more recent. There is no red, amber or green, and no "ready" or "rest". The shade is a fact about your own record, and VoiceOver reads that fact out (the label, when you last recorded there and how many records it has) rather than describing a colour.
Under the figure the app says it plainly: a record of where, not a suggestion of where next. Where to inject is a question for the person who prescribes or supports your routine.
Seeing your site history
Settings › Site history lists every site with the records made there, newest first, so you can look back over weeks or months. A routine's own screen shows its previous sites too. The Journal's search finds a site by name across the records the Journal is showing.
Site labels go into every export and backup, so a CSV file or a PDF report reads the same way the app does.
Vialog is a personal record. It does not recommend a site, a product, an amount or any change to your routine.
